  This sephora had the worst customer service I have experienced. I tried to make a return on items and I stayed within the return policy listed on the original receipt and I was denied a refund. I was not made aware that the items had to be "new or in gently used condition" until arriving with my items for the return. I spoke to a cashier and she referred me to, I'm assuming, a manager named Blake who also could not make an exception. I then went on to speak with Sephora customer service and were helpful, I spoke to two ladies by the names Maria and Jada who did their best to help me. They then referred me to a supervisor by the name of Sarah who said she would've been happy to make the return if it was an online order because she understood that I was not aware of the policy that wasn't listed on the reciept. It just surprises me how the store in Governors square mall couldn't come to any kind of compromise with me. I have never returned any item because I'm always happy with them. This was the first time I tried to make a refund and now it's the last time I will make a purchase in this store. The associates there made me feel as if I was trying to scam them when I wasn't because the products, which were acne products, can't just be used in a week to see a difference. You usually need to use them for a considerable amount of time before seeing any kind of difference and when I purchased them the lady who helped me said that if I want satisfied with them at all that I could return them within the 60 days of purchase. I just don't see how an exception couldn't be made knowing that used products in general cannot be returned to the shelf and would eventually be marked out of stock, returned to the distributor, or simply thrown away. If I could give this store less than one star I would because the way this situation was dealt with is unacceptable.
