Bad customer service. My phone's screen broke, so I visited The Phone Shoppe for a replacement. A worker replaced the screen but noted that my frame was slightly bent, meaning he had difficulty setting in the new screen. No big deal, until it popped out the next day. I returned and another worker set the screen back into place. Over the following days, the screen has intermittently malfunctioned by executing unprompted commands even after I've set the phone down. This leads me to believe the second worker damaged the replacement screen in the process of resetting it. I returned hoping to fix the problem, and the worker manning the store (the second worker I dealt with who likely broke the screen) was unexpectedly confrontational when I inquired about the issue. He claimed the bent frame must have broken the screen but refused to inspect it to determine if he'd broken it when resetting it, and he became very irate at the notion of a replacement. You'd expect basic customer service from a business specializing in repairs, but apparently inspecting the screen was too much of a hassle. The worker's unwarranted hostility indicates he knew he'd damaged the screen while resetting it but chose to become irate instead of correcting his mistake. Very unprofessional. Edit: Note that my phone was not thoroughly tested to ensure it was working after it was re-seated. While the owner claims "the condition of my phone had noticeably worsened," they refused to test the screen when I returned after the problem emerged following its re-seating. Like I said, it's clear that the screen was damaged while being re-seated and they chose to become hostile rather than correct their mistake. Avoid The Phone Shoppe if you have any interest in the level of customer service one would expect from an adult.
